Getting to the Training Room
To enter the Training Room, open the Everest Poker software to go to the Poker Lobby, click on the Help button, and choose the Training Room option.
All poker games in the Training Room are Texas Hold’em. However, you will need to choose the type of poker bet limits you’d like to play with as you learn poker.
Here is a quick explanation of poker limits:
After selecting which Limit system you wish to use as you learn poker, click OK.
The online Poker Training Room will ask how many poker chips you wish to bring to the table. It will show the minimum number of chips needed to sit in on the game and the maximum number that you can bring to the table. Since this is free play poker, just click OK to sit with the maximum. You will then take your seat in the foreground. A moment later, Mallory, Hillary, and Norgay—our automated poker trainers—will join the table and take their seats.
From this point, you can learn poker by doing. Buttons for poker play will appear in the centre of the control panel when it's your turn to make a decision in the game.
Don't be afraid to click the wrong thing while you learn poker; after a few hands, you're sure to get the hang of it and start mastering the flow of poker play.
If you run out of poker chips, you can always leave the online Poker Training Room and start over again. Use it as often as you like. When you are familiar with the game controls and comfortable with the flow of play, learn about what our Poker Lobby has to offer.Limit Poker Play
